About Vremote’s client:
Our client, a dedicated team of nearly 200 members with over 10 years of experience in the Japanese software development market, seeks a Project Manager. The role involves leading projects to success, engaging teams, and inspiring client collaboration to achieve cost-saving, timely delivery, and high quality.
What you do:
- Identifying the needs, and scope of work, developing a detailed project schedule, tracking the progress, and keeping project deliverables on track.
- Coordinating internal resources and project stakeholders in the daily activities of the project.
- Ensuring the project complies with all working standards and policies.
- Evaluating project performance regularly and taking action to increase productivity as much as possible.
- Reporting to management (DM/PMO) as needed.
- Identifying, managing, and mitigating project risks and issues.
Who we’re looking for:
You must have:
- Good at speaking and writing in English. TOEIC 650 or equivalent.
- University Degree. Technology, Computer Science, or a similar field is preferred.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Project Manager role. OR, over 5 years of experience with a deep understanding of the Software Development lifecycle and process.
- Familiar with using Project Management tools such as JIRA, Backlog, and Google Sheets.
- The ability to outline a project’s objectives, scope, resources, and timeline.
- Strong attention to detail and result-oriented working style.
- Excellent communication, and strong leadership skills.
- Emotional intelligence, problem-solving, and customer-facing skills.
And nice to have:
- Professional Scrum Master or Agile methodology-related certification.
- Technical background with understanding or hands-on experience in software
- development and web technologies.
- Good programming skills, deep understanding of programming concepts, and ability to use principles, rules, tools, and guidelines to write code effectively.
- System analyzing abilities to design new IT solutions to improve efficiency and productivity.
