POSITION TITLE: OPERATION MANAGER

FUNCTIONAL BUSINESS OBJECTIVES (FBOs):

Genkin is looking for an experienced and strategic Operation Manager who can lead and manage the company's support team to ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction. This position requires a person who has a proven track record of success in improving productivity, efficiency, and service quality. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities, as well as the ability to create a positive and supportive work environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Operations Management: Ensure that the daily activities of the organization run smoothly and without hindrance. This includes overseeing production processes (if it's a manufacturing business), managing customer services, and ensuring the timely and quality delivery of products or services.
• Resource Management: Handle and allocate resources such as labor, raw materials, and equipment to ensure efficiency in operations. This may involve budget planning and monitoring the organization's assets.
• Personnel Management: Recruit, train, and manage employees within the operations department. This includes setting work goals, evaluating performance, and handling human resource-related issues.
• Process Improvement: Continuously improve work processes to optimize performance and minimize waste. Operation Managers often need to analyze data and information to make improvement decisions.
• Ensuring Compliance with Laws and Regulations: Ensure that the organization complies with all legal regulations and industry standards.
• Risk Management: Identify, assess, and manage risks within the organization's operations to ensure stability and safety.
• Interaction with Other Departments: Collaborate closely with other departments within the organization, such as marketing, finance, and project management, to ensure coordination and harmony in the organization's overall activities.
• Reporting and Evaluation: Prepare reports for the leadership team and regularly assess the performance of the operations department.

REQUIREMENTS:

Criteria for the position:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in the role.
• Have experience working in a startup environment or a strong interest in working for a startup or building a startup.
• Commitment to a long-term project.
• Experience working with and managing remote teams.

• Diligent and responsible in handling assigned tasks.
• Ambitious in pursuit of larger goals.
