Position: Business Development Manager
AVSE Global (Association of Vietnamese Scientists and Experts) is a Paris-headquartered non-profit organization connecting Vietnamese intellectuals, senior experts, and scientists worldwide. Relying on over 300 permanent members in more than 20 countries regularly working on strategic projects and collaborating with 2000+ collaborative experts and 10000+ connected experts, AVSE Global implements strategic programs and projects promoting Vietnam's sustainable development through 11 professional networks, 10+ annual international conferences and policy forums, 20+ top-level executive training programs, 10+ advisory projects including socio-economic development planning for provinces, and specialized reports on various important topics such as national brand, education and training, talent attraction, economy and finance, sustainable urban planning and development, digital transformation, innovation, and energy transition
We are currently seeking a Business Development Manager to support the expansion of the organization's business activities and partner development. This position is suitable for talented individuals who are passionate about tackling strategic challenges, aspire to elevate themselves, and wish to connect with influential Vietnamese individuals both domestically and internationally.

- Reporting Line: Director of Partnerships & Finance, AVSE Global & AVSE Corporation.
- 1-year contract, renewable by mutual agreement.
- Working hours: 40 hours per week, flexible working hours.
- Remote work.
II. Job Description
- Develop and execute the business strategy and target of the company.
- Proactively collaborate with project teams and expert networks within AVSE Global to develop and formulate strategies for business products that align with the organization vision & purpose.
- Research and propose new business development models, including markets, products, customers, partners, or new approaches to reach the current and emerging markets.
- Build and execute strategies for brand development, image enhancement, and brand visibility for AVSE Global.
- Maintain and cultivate long-term, sustainable relationships with current customer partners.
- Seek and develop new partner sources and customers.
- Establish effective business processes.
- Directly manage the project team.
- Support AVSE Global activities in Vietnam.
- Complete regular activity reports.
III. Requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related fields.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an equivalent position.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools and data analytics.
- Understanding of key performance indicators in business effectiveness.
- Self-driven with the ability to set specific goals and focus on goal achievement.
- Strong sales and marketing expertise.
- Proficiency in project management (PM) and experience in team and group management.
- Ability to work independently and effectively in a team.
- Skill in creating business proposals.
- Ability to work with a global team of multidisciplinary experts.
- Proficiency in English.
- Candidates with experience in implementing large projects with government entities, state agencies, and leading corporations are preferred.
